I conduct research on self-care practices, ways in which technology can support health promotion and protection, and attitudes towards technology.

I conduct research aimed at (a) enhancing the generalizability and standardizing methodologies in AI-based digital health evaluations, and (b) developing naturalistic human-AI systems and developing theories connecting AI with naturalistic decision-making. Additionally, I teach master students, covering courses in Behavioral Science, quantitative methods, and applied research projects.

I conducted statistical analyses and developed an algorithm & decision aid that helps users in selecting the best mindfulness app personalized to their needs.

I coordinated the project AkuSym, which was funded by the Federal Ministry of Health in Germany. The projects aimed to investigate whether symptom checker apps improve satisfaction with care in emergency and acute outpatient settings. Additionally, I conducted research in Digital Health and Metascience/Real World Evidence.

I conducted research on symptom checker apps, did data-wrangling, visualized and analyzed research and real-world data.

I conducted research on human-vehicle interaction with autonomous cargo bikes.

I supported the chair in carrying out research projects on mental distress at work.

I received a PhD for my newly developed method to evaluate the accuracy of AI for care-seeking decisions and its impact on users’ decisions.

I received a Doctor of Medical Science for my epidemiological research on symptom-assessment applications.

I studied Public Health with a focus on Leadership (incl. health economics and change management).

I studied Human Factors with a focus on Data Science and Human-Automation Interaction.

I studied Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology and Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

I am responsible for handling manuscripts and making editorial decisions.

As an Open Science Ambassador within the Berlin University Alliance, I am responsible for Open Science outreach and dissemination.

I lead the University Contacts team, which is the point of contact for all university related topics at Mensa.

I am a member of the Science and Research Department, which conducts research at Mensa.

I was a member of the Student Representatives in which we represented the interests of students.

I was a mentor for first-year students in psychology.
